That’s a very good point! For any real change to happen, predators have to be punished for their behavior. I think at the same time, in the moment when that burden falls on one individual (typically female), it can feel impossible to speak up. Sometimes, the bouncer ignores you, says they are busy or the cops belittle you, refuse to file a report or if they do, never follow up. There are many systems at play that make reporting and addressing harassment quite difficult.
